Landing a New Audience

Taylor Morrison purchased a plot of land northeast of Denver with plans to create a new and thriving 55+ active adult community. Rather than simply appealing to consumers interested in the 55+ lifestyle, they set their eyes on a new audience — those who wouldn’t consider a “retirement community.”

Skyestone created a fresh approach to the active adult community concept. The new brand capitalizes on authentic Colorado living and being greater than your age.

Our approach included: in-depth consumer research, development of core brand positioning, audience segmentation strategy with identity and brand system, and key brand messages that connect with all identified audience segments and reflect a truly modern Colorado lifestyle. The Skyestone brand was developed to embrace that life can be more than you imagined, differentiating it from both direct and indirect competitors.

Inspiring a Community

Through collaborative efforts, Skyestone was able to inspire a new 55+ community seeking to find more out of the best years of life, with a focus on ramping up instead of winding down. The brand awareness campaign successfully generated interest with a highly segmented audience for a new, rapidly growing style of housing development.
